Capcom has officially announced Ōkami HD for $19.99! The critically acclaimed remastered PS2 hit will support 1080p graphics, widescreen 16:9 and trophies. You will also be able to wield the Celestial Brush with the PlayStation Move controller or just use the standard DualShock.
Capcom describes Ōkami like this:
“Ōkami comes alive through beautiful scenic 3D levels that have the appearance and texture of paper scrolls brushed with watercolor-like calligraphy art. Playing as Amatarasu, the sun goddess who takes on the form of a wolf, your goal is to bring life back to the world. Bringing life back to the world involves defeating lots of beasts. With each beast you defeat, the world’s life force is restored just a bit, with colors and eventually people appearing.”
Do you guys think this will be better playing with Move? I never played the original so I’m really excited by this news. Is it on rails or is it free roaming?

Not sure how I’ll play it. I can imagine how the painting parts will be worlds better with the move, but other than that I’d prefer a regular controller or as a last resort, the nav controller.
I have to admit I never finished this game on PS2. I played it A LOT, but I never finished it. This will be a good opportunity.
