Update on PS Vita games and price-cut for Japan

Sony Japan did a live broadcast this morning announcing a price-cut for the PlayStation Vita. Both models (Wi-Fi & 3G) will be reduced to 19,980 yen on February 28th. That is around $215 or £138. There’s no confirmation just yet for a price-cut in the West.

The stream also gave some updates about games, let’s recap.

A bundle for Phantasy Star Online 2 releasing March 28th in Japan.

 

Toukiden will get a demo in April and players will be able to to play 4 players through PSP or Vita.

 

The 3 player RPG Valhalla Knights 3 was also shown which will be released in 2013 along with Gundam Breaker.

 

Soul Sacrifice now has a release date, March 7th to be precise.

 

Dragon’s Crown gets a second trailer showing fire breathing dragons and lots of huge sprites.

 

A new feature for God Eater 2 was announced where you can transfer your save from the original PSP game to your Vita.

 

Final Fantasy X HD was also shown for the first time since 2011 but no details on a release date yet.
