Looks good, but will it play well is the ultimate question as I’ve seen a lot of people ranting on it already.
Graphics don’t make a good game!

So true, I can only judge it from the game-play videos they’ve released so far and compare it to their previous games, of course Uncharted comes to mind. By the looks of it they’re trying to make a much more slow paced methodical “shooter” that builds tension, reminiscent of Walking Dead…

This looks like a great game and from what I know about naughty dog after playing Uncharted 1, 2, and 3, is that it’s more likely going to have awesome game play. When is this announced to come out?

This game will be amazing, we can’t go wrong, with naughty dog. They know their job pretty well.

When this game is finally out, all the people who have played zombiU on their wiiU will finally recognize Nintendo really did it wrong, by choosing weak and cheap hardware for their latest console. Wii u’s weak sales pretty represent the ‘problem’.
In my country, in Europe, the Wii u is priced like, 450$(converted from my currency), with a super Mario game, just next a 220$ 160gb ps3, or a 149$ x360 arcade model, and this, in most paper advertising or catalogs. Nobody, but I mean, nobody believes in this Wii u, excepting the most extreme diehard mario-luigi-kart-zelda-monster-metroid-a few more titles biggest fans. Excepting those guys, everybody is picking an x360 or a ps3, that still delivers amazing games, with its almost 8yo hardware, just like ni no kuni, god of war ascension, and the upcoming the last of us, that I believe will set a new benchmark on the ‘horror’ games, like resident evil, many years ago.

These pics look amazing, and I can’t imagine all those things moving smoothly on the screen, with some great lights, textures, sound effects and an excellent voice acting, like we are used to, when playing a naughty dog game.

I’m playing and enjoying every bit of tomb raider, right now. When I finish it, its time for kratos.and so on. This march is an incredible month, for us, gamers.

Nintendo fans: my critic about the Wii u isn’t meant to bash it, I’m just unhappy Nintendo didn’t use great hardware, so their new games would be amazing, and much better, graphically, than the current generation. Instead, Nintendo chooses that big touch controller that, while it may be useful, for, for example, choosing weapons, for me its a big thing, heavy, that detracts the gamer attention. I like to learn my controls scheme, and never watch the controller, while playing. Its about me, and the game. With the Wii u touch controller, I’m not in the center of my game anymore, everything I do rely and depends on the touch controller.add that you can only use one touch controller on every Wii u, its a bad thing too. Really, Nintendo thought and thinks everybody would run and grab one Wii u, well, they were totally wrong, its far from reality. I think they sold like 40000 Wii u in japan, last week.that’s what we call bad sales, specially for a new console from Nintendo. No millions of consoles sold means little interest from developers and studios, which translates in almost no games from third party studios. In 2013, with the monster ps4 and x720, Nintendo can’t rely on only super Mario games , Mario, mario and more Mario.what’s the difference with Mario Wii u and all the other Marios, except graphics slightly crispier? Can we call it a next gen game? I don’t think so.

I’m sorry, but there is absolutely no way those screens are from “in-game”. Not once, not ONCE has a PS3 game looked that sharp and clear. Only a high end PC could run those graphics that sharply. These are easily, PR “Bullshots”. I am sure that the final game’s graphics will be fantastic, as always, but they will not be this good. Game play shots these may be, but they have been up-scaled and re-rendered in a graphics package, prior to them being released to the media. Oh and on top of that, all these graphics mean nothing if the game plays like yet another boring, linear Uncharted ( read: Tomb Raider template ) clone again. Everyone’s obsessed with the visual aspects and never stop to question why the games industry is becoming more and more like Hollywood with each release. Same template of first/third person, linear, largely boring “adventures” with ridiculous and mind numbingly dumb stories, character arcs with their impossible acts of strength and agility despite them being an apparent “every man”. Every big release is slowly, but surely, merging into the same tired old cliché of a game… MAN, I’m angry at the world today :)

  5. Kamille_Bidan says:

you can tell these are bullshots right away because of the aliasing… There is none and the game only uses 2x MSAA which is not enough to cover everything.

I wonder when Naughty Dog will stop deceiving their fans with this bullsht. Just look at these:

I don’t know why they decided to change that specific scene in Uncharted like that, but it isn’t because of technical requirements or whatever. That was a video cutscene, so they could have had anything they wanted in there.

  6. KurianOfBorg says:

Bullshit con images. The live gameplay will look NOTHING like this. These are just prerendered one frame at a time from the engine instead of what it looks like in gameplay.

  7. Toby says:

    THESE ARE BULLSHOTS!
Let us see how many of the N4Gtard fanclub will fall for this one AGAIN!

    • dFUSE dFUSE says:

And they are so beautiful! Why can’t you appreciate great art when you see it? The images are meant to showcase details, the setting, facial expressions, textures and character models etc. Nobody is saying the game will be able to render these images at 30 frames per second. Bullshots have been a common practice this entire generation and I love looking at them and if you don’t, please avert your eyes :D

  8. Solid Snake says:

Naughty dog over the years has had some very talented people working in their studio & still do have some very talented people working in their studio that have produced some very memorable & solid game series over the years with more coming.so it’s only fair to give them the benefit of the doubt based upon their long positive track record over the years.

    Cheers Gamers & Happy Gaming!

    • dFUSE dFUSE says:

Well said! No doubt that this game will be something really special. I’m really excited about how they’re taking the game-play in a completely new direction with more stealth and also jazzed about the storytelling and the crafting system. Either way this pans out, you have to be glad they’re trying to do something different here, and different = good!

  9. Game says:

Will be a great game or the greatest hyped let down of all time.
