We’re only a couple of weeks away from wielding the axe ourselves, but over the last few days/weeks, media outlets around the world have been planting that axe in various heads, and given their impressions today. Out of this comes a 15 minute long gameplay walkthrough which shows battles, upgrade systems and heads being chopped off. Kratos doesn’t seem quite as angry as we’re used to, but God of War still looks pretty solid.
The combat seems more deliberate, but the skull crushing is intact, which might give the game the new flavor it needs to stay relevant. We’ll see soon.
