James Gunn has crafted a great world with perfect characters in it. A lighthearted feel while managing to maintain excellent zombie body dismemberment makes for hours of fun. Juliet Starling is the perfect fictional person to be a cheerleader zombie hunter in a high school setting.

Tara Strong heads up an amazing cast of very talented voice actors that are a perfect fit for their character. To complement the great audio from the voice actors is a large music library providing you with some excellent bubblegum pop tunes.

Collectables range from music tracks and zombie stats to one of 20+ sexy outfits for Juliet. These add a nice amount of replay ability and challenge to the game.

Like most hack 'n slash games lollipop chainsaw do get a bit repetitious, and after leveling Juliet up to about 50% even the hard difficulties doesn't put up much of a challenge. The Platinum trophy is easy to obtain but the repetition gets very tiresome.

The game is a bit lacking when it comes to the variety of enemies. I would like to see a sequel if it would feature more enemy variety with increased difficulty.

No leaderboards for normal story mode play is a step backwards. Ranking play is unlocked once you finish a level. There are other "ranking" modes of play, but the normal play ranking should be able to be submitted with normal story play since you are given a report card at the end of the level.
