On October 23 (October 24 for EU), the extra content included in Dark Souls: Prepare to Die (PC) is released in a DLC expansion aptly named Artorias of the Abyss. If you live in Europe and prefer a shiny box to put on your shelf, you can pick it up at your favorite game store on October 26. The DLC is priced at $14.99, no word on the retail version just yet.
The DLC will focus on Oolacile and the growing darkness that threatens Lordran. The new storyline will include new NPCs, enemies, bosses, weapons and armor. Also included is online matchmaking for PVP in addition to the three player online co-op, and players will still be able to summon partners into eachother’s worlds to help with the main quest.
Are you looking forward to dying again, or did you smash enough controllers already?
I wonder if the co-op is a drop-in/drop-out kind of deal, instead of like having to find a hidden stone somewhere in a lost forest and when you die you have to repeat that again. Because to me, that is not co-op.
