Martin saw Uncharted 4 – “Never seen anything like it. Almost scary real, photo realistic.”

Making a fan film about Uncharted can get you places. It can even get you a tour of the Naughty Dog studio and an exclusive first look at Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. This is exactly what Martin Sofiedal just did and he’s pretty impressed at what he saw.

– I got to see some pretty raw stuff from the new game, including drawings of planned action sequences and how all the characters look like now with upgraded graphics. It was almost scary to see Sully as an almost living person. I also got to see a few seconds of the opening scene, which is still under development, but already looking incredible.”Martin Sofiedal

Martin goes on and compares the graphical leap as PlayStation 2 to a Pixar movie.

They showed some tests where Drake was going through a bit of tall grass and how every straw reacted to his movements while also responding to the wind. It was crazy. I’ve never seen anything like it.Martin Sofiedal

Smells like more Sony hype that will fail to deliver.

  2. SonyGAF says:

Sorry, but NO NO NO NO. This is a lie. Stop with this hyping bullshit. We been there, done that. Remember #DriveClub, alias #DelayClub?! Showing us all those Bullshots, none of them are real. And Online is still not working. What in the F***? Stop with this CRAP! Destiny was the same letdown and overhyped bullcrap!

Are you high? Driveclub improved graphically from its reveal all the way up to launch, unlike other games. Did you play it in 2013?
Online multiplayer? What the hell has that got to do with how Uncharted 4 is going to blow away every other game in existence for the next 8 years??? There probably will be an online mode and a few people will play it but come on, stop being over dramatic with no weight or anything to say that makes sense.

Clearly you’re an xbox convert who has never played an uncharted game before. Play them, then open your mouth about how great the game will be. because it’s going the be epic.

What does Driveclub and Destiny (a multiplatform game, by the way) have absolutely fuck all to do with Uncharted…

      God dammit… I’m talking to a 12 year old, aren’t I?

      My bad.

With most things I take a healthy wait and see approach, but we are talking about Naughty Dog here. TLOU is Proof enough of what they are capable of on 6 year old hardware

  4. Counterproductive says:

Wow. There are a lot of people on this site who seem to have an anti-Sony agenda, trying to sling muck on a company that has literally never failed to deliver.

Maybe you could at least wait until the game is released to judge it harshly without personal experience, so your bias wouldn’t be as obvious as it is right now.

    • admin says:

I am willing to bet that they’ve never actually played an uncharted game before, and are more than likely xbox converts or fanyboys. Anyone who has played an uncharted game knows that they are amazing.

Lol at the salty gaf lurkers and xbots trying to crap on the article. Fanboys be fanboys.

When Phil goes out to rob Laura just to compete with Uncharted when he also has Halo – that’s all you need to know about the respect and fear striking through his vains as he marvels at the best first-party console developer in the business put out GOTY’s left and right for the competition.

Stay scared kids. When U4 drops – you’all know is over. Pray for a meta below 95.
