The not too shabby comic book adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis’ Powers has been renewed for a second season on the PlayStation Network. The show starring Sharlto Copley, maybe most famous for his role in District 9, revolves around the Powers division and their work to police superpowered humans. It also stars Michelle Forbes, Noah Taylor and stand-up comedian Eddie Izzard as the rather grotesque Wolfe. While its low budget is clearly visible, I found the first season to be rather entertaining and I’m happy to see the show return for a second run.
