Hori is launching a mini controller for younger players

Whether you’re a youngster or just born with small hands, Hori is bringing an officially licensed controller, 40% smaller than the Dualshock 4 and with limited capabilities, to the PlayStation 4. It is wired (so no battery to make it heavier), doesn’t come with rumble (same reason), and lacks touch pad as well as support for headsets. Your couch co-op sessions in Knack 2 and Overcooked should now be slightly easier if your kids think the DS4 is a monster. While lacking a lot of features, it still contains all the buttons you require for an uncomplicated gaming session.

It’ll retail at $29.99 USD / $39.99 CAD when it comes out this holiday, but there’s no word on a European release yet. At least we’re getting the sunset orange Dualshock 4, so that’s something.
