You’ll be playing Batman: Arkham Origins this fall

Gameinformer revealed its May cover stories today which included the announcement of the next Batman game called Batman: Arkham Origins. As the title suggests it is a prequel to the two previous games, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. Rocksteady is no longer the developer, leaving a somewhat monumental task to WB Montreal. Not a lot of information is available at the moment, but Deathstroke is confirmed as one of the villains in the game.

In addition to this there will be a simultaneous release of a handheld version as well called Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate. It will release on the Vita and the 3DS at the same day. It’s a separate story arch taking place after the events of Origins. Developer of the handheld versions is Armature Studio.

Both games are currently due for release on October 25th and you can check out some more details over at Gameinformer.
