Bioshock Infinite DLC detailed

The wait is over. Well, almost if you’re into narrative driven DLC, but first things first. Today sees the release of the first downloadable content for Bioshock Infinite. It’s a combat-oriented affair with 4 new maps, fifteen encounters each and a lot of surviving to do. You will have all powers and upgrades from the get-go, and you will need them because things will get rough in this 1999-mode inspired battle. The DLC is called Clash in the Clouds and will be available for PS3 tomorrow.

The second and third DLC is by far the most interesting though, featuring a return to Rapture in a two-part adventure. This is the Rapture before things went awry and will give you a glimpse of how things used to be. In the first part you will be in control of Booker, and the second part will leave you in control of Elizabeth. They will play out differently, with Elizabeth’s chapter being more in the veins of survival horror according to Ken Levine in an interview with gamespot. The chapters will be called Burial at Sea episode 1 and 2, and no date has yet been revealed for these two.

Check out the trailers below to get a glimpse of the action to come.
