Batman: Arkham Origins tease suggests the story of Mr. Freeze

As previously mentioned, the Facebook page of Batman Arkham teased an announcement on December 31st. We got that, sort of. While not exactly an announcement, another tease was published today on Twitter, suggesting that we’ll get an origins story for Mr. Freeze as DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins in the near future.

So why Mr. Freeze? The first image shows an invitation to Humanitarian of the Year Awards, a reference to Batman: The Animated Series where Mr. Freeze attacks the recipient – Ferris Boyle – during the ceremony. The second image makes it a bit easier, showing the prize covered in ice.

That means no Batman announced for PS4 yet, which is fine considering Origins hasn’t been out that long. You can check out the synopsis of that particular episode here. Are you looking forward to playing out the events that put Mr. Freeze behind bars?
