Tearaway reimagined for PS4 with new console specific features

The guys and gals at Media Molecule doesn’t shy away from a challenge, so when toying around with the idea of bringing Tearaway to the PS4 some deep thinking was required. Announced at Gamescom, Tearaway Unfolded is the result of that. It’s not only a 1080p port aiming at 60fps, but it’s also a grander world wrapped around the re-telling of the story you hopefully fell in love with on the Vita. By swiping the touch pad you can throw gusts of wind into the game, not only affecting the scenery but also sending Atoi on brief flying trips thanks to a paper plane. The light bar on the controller can be used to light up dark areas, and you can throw creatures and items out of your new Tearaway experience and into your controller only to cause havoc by flinging them right back.

It looks as adorable and fun as it was on the Vita, as shown by the trailer below. Read up on their blog for more details and keep checking our game page for more info in the future.
