Well, this doesn’t end, does it? Back in 2012 Sony abandoned their trademark for The Last Guardian, filed a new one and has now let that one go as well. It doesn’t necessarily mean a lot except the obvious (they let the trademark go); the game can (and is, according to Sony) still be under development, there might be a new name or they’ll file a new one for the old. Who knows? We don’t, but we’ll make sure to tell you once we do. All we can do until then is to watch some old footage, admire the lush screens and hope. A lot.
