In case you were wondering, Vevo won’t be coming to Scandinavian users

The Vevo app launched for a select number of regions today (United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland and Spain to be precise). The app, which gives you access to Vevo’s music videos, original programming and live concerts, might be familiar to you if you’ve used the mobile version or spent a lot of time on YouTube watching music videos.

There’s usually a very visible discrepancy in app availability across regions on the PlayStation platforms, and as a Scandinavian I figured I’d ask Vevo about their plans for a release in the Nordic countries, and well, there is none. It’s not a big deal, we have a pretty great service already in Vidzone, but for some reason the regional differences in content remains an annoyance.
