Standalone version of The Last of Us: Left Behind out this month

If you for whatever reason never played the fantastic DLC to The Last of Us, Left Behind, you’re weird. What’s even weirder though is the decision to release this as a standalone game on PSN. It will be out May 12th for $9.99/€9.99/£7.99 on both PS3 and PS4. Also included is a 2 hour trial of the Factions multiplayer mode. You can uprade to a full version of the game/multiplayer mode by chipping in a few extra bucks. So, if you’re a The Last of Us newcomer, you can now let yourself be slightly spoiled by this first, but I suggest you just go get the full game off the bat instead.

Check out the full announcement on the PlayStation blog.
