Slide, dash and leap in Housemarque’s Matterfall for PlayStation 4

If you thought Alienation was the only thing coming out of Housemarque these days, you were – according to Paris Games Week – wrong. Here’s Matterfall, a game that on paper sounds slightly like Vanquish, but that comes with a really cool trailer regardless. It’s a vertical bullet hell where you’ll be jumping, sliding and shooting a whole lot to ensure your survival.

The game supports local co-op with up to two players and features competitive gameplay modes with score chasing and kill-comparisons. Below is the aforementioned fancy trailer for your viewing pleasure.
