I know, I know. It’s a movie adaptation of a game, it simply can’t be good. Or can it? We’ll get to judge that in unison – and if I know my internet, we will, loudly – on December 21st this year. What we do know is that Michael Fassbender stars in it and he’s phenomenal, so there’s a glimmer of hope. What we also know is that the movie follows the premise of the games by including both the historic events and the modern day shenanigans. Fassbender plays the role of Aguilar, a Spanish assassin as well as Callum Lynch, his descendant.
