There’s proof of life in space as Hello Games announces the Foundation update

The foundation for what, you say? Easy now, space traveler. After the release of No Man’s Sky, Hello Games pretty much locked themselves in a vault and vanished off the face of the earth. In a hot mess of a game that didn’t quite live up to the expectations, and Sony pretty much dropping the ball on the whole team, internet has set unexplored planets ablaze with rumors and speculation. They must be doing something, right?

And they are! The Foundation update is the first in many updates to come, but will feature the very beginning of base building among, hopefully, other things. They acknowledge their hiatus from all things social media while also reassuring explorers that they are indeed listening.

Is this sign of life enough to bring you back into the cockpit? Their complete post about this can be found here.
