Call of Duty: World War II announced – worlwide reveal on April 26

Do you know what’s better than a rumor or leak? A rumor or leak that is absolutely factual. Like in the case of Call of Duty: World War II, which is now properly revealed, and will be even more revealed on April 26 in what I can only assume is a CG trailer, but that might actually be a gameplay trailer. Who knows these days?

Maybe inspired by Battlefield’s trip back to world war 1, maybe not related at all, who knows? What we do know is that the next Call of Duty is set during world war 2. If they are taking narrative liberties and create their own story, or will reprise some of the bigger and known moments is not clear, but we will know soon enough. This is Sledgehammer’s turn, and their previous Call of Duty game was Advanced Warfare from 2014.

Is this the right setting for a new Call of Duty or are they totally missing the target?
