LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will brick everything on November 14

The fact that there will be another Lego game is as probable as the sun rising every day. Just what franchise it will be is a little more difficult to gauge. Regardless, Traveller’s Tales and Warner Bros got your November covered with the announcement of Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2.

The game features a gazillion characters again, adding Doctor Strange and your friends from Guardians of the Galaxy among others. If we’re dipping into the fillers, you can find future Spider-Man and, hum, cowboy Captain America. Set in Chronopolis, the original story will be of the branching kind and not only throw you between various exotic locations, but also back and forth in time.

New gameplay mechanics feature time manipulation and a 4-player competitive battle mode. The announcement also mentions 4-player coop, but whether that expands to the whole campaign (instead of the ordinary 2 player mode we’re used to) isn’t clear. 4 players must mean utter chaos though.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be out on November 14, but you can expect a first look on May 23 when the full trailer drops.
