Just Cause 4 brings a new engine, weather and plenty of explosion later this year

The screenshots came first, but Just Cause 4 got its proper announcement during Microsoft’s E3 press conference just now. If you want to imagine what Just Cause 4, it’s exactly what you’d come to expect, but built with a new engine that will probably make things explode a lot more.

Also coming is weather, and lots of it. Imagine blizzards, sandstorms and tornadoes, then try thinking of all the mischief you can do with a grappling hook under those circumstances. In other words, Just Cause 4 will probably be the sandbox of crazy that you know and love.

Just Cause 4 will even be out this year, on December 4.
