Capcom isn’t taking this remake lightly either. They call it a re-imagining and I can see why. First off, if you never played the original, in Resident Evil 2 you play as either Leon or Claire in separate campaigns. There’s an outbreak in Raccoon City and things are really going sideways.
The remake is more than spit and up-ressed polish. We’re talking buzz words like 4k and wet zombies. We are also talking about a closer over-the-shoulder camera, better lighting and tweaked gameplay. It’s looking a whole lot like a brand new old game.
Resident Evil 2 will be released on January 25, 2019. Our game page has more info if you so desire.
