Let’s watch 20 minutes of Anthem gameplay – unless you’re afraid of spiders

Ever since E3 there have been questions and answers about Bioware’s upcoming co-op action rpg Anthem. But sometimes the best way to answer something is to provide a huge chunk of delicious gameplay. I have to say I love the sound design in Anthem, particularly the guns, which all seems to pop a whole lot. If the weapon is poppin’, the action ain’t stoppin’ … said no one ever.

The demo shows a mission, and better yet, a stronghold, which almost feels like a light raid in its presentation. And it all ends with a wicked boss fight, and this one has a lot of legs. I’ll leave the rest for you to enjoy, but while I have previously found myself lukewarm to Anthem, my interest has increased ever so slightly.
