Blood sacrifice and frost giants is just another day in Vikings: Wolves of Midgard

Kick Diablo in the butt and aim north, and you might just end up with Vikings: Wolves of Midgard which is being developed by Gaming Farm and will have you wreck havoc as an angry viking next year. It’s all about saving the world, upgrading things and chopping bits off enemies with legendary weaponry. On paper Vikings seem to offer everything and more that you would need as an avid action RPG fan, but whether the complete package holds together is yet to be seen.

You will loot, fight, berserk and conquer, and when you’re done you can do it all over again in new game+. If you’re gonna be all social about it you might as well play it online with a friend. Maybe even crank it up to that coveted hardcore mode if you’re so inclined.

Vikings: Wolves of Midgard will be out in 2017 and may or may not look a little bit like what you see below.
