Beyond just bringing back classic skating memories, THPS HD gives skate fans something new with innovative game modes and online features. Hawkman mode makes its return, as players fly around levels collecting colored pellets before time runs out. Big Head Survival sticks players with a head that's constantly growing unless you perform tricks before it gets too big. And new PROjectives provide unique, harder objectives unlocked upon completing the game's originals. Online, get into modes such as Trick Attack (two minute scoring battles,) Graffiti mode (tag as many objects as possible by performing huge tricks on them,) Big Head Elimination (keep pulling tricks or your head will be first to pop,) and Free Skate (just tool around the stages for fun with friends.)
