Live action trailers usually end up being really awkward and the source of a lot of internet laughter. Cue weird gifs and a long GAF thread. Despite this I was pleasantly surprised by the new God of War: Ascension live action trailer that showed the soft spots in Kratos’ life as things really turned to shit. While I’m sure this video will get the same treatment as others, I think this 1:58 trailer is time well spent. Do you?

Love the trailer, and finally we get some love for the Single-Player side of things :) No offence but I couldn’t care less about MP. That song too by Ellie Goulding is a perfect fit! Gave me goose bumps!
