Need for Speed puts live action and video games in a bucket and shakes it all up

If you’re a Need for Speed fan you might have noticed their affinity for live action in their video games, much to people’s enjoyment through the years. Not everything was meant to be funny, but there you go. With the new Need for Speed, Ghost Games aims to blur the line between live action and in-game even more, and the best example is having your personal customized car in the midst of all the live action footage. This actually sounds pretty cool if it turns out to look the part once it releases in November this year.

A handful of car- and racing icons have also joined the cast as themselves, in order to spice up things and be the guy for each of the five ways to play. Magnus Walker is a Porche 911 guy who enjoys driving really, really fast, and he’ll be the Speed Icon. Ken Block who you might have seen swirling around insane twist and turns will be your Style Icon. Nakai-san is the Build Icon, Risky Devil will make up the Crew Icon and Morohoshi-san is the bad boy of the bunch as the Outlaw Icon.
